Getting the family's hair done shouldn't cost you a whole Saturday.
One place does the ladies' hair. Another place cuts the boys. Neither one takes the kids without a fuss. By the time you've queued twice and walked between them, the morning is gone and you still haven't done the shopping.
That's the whole reason this shop is laid out the way it is. Braiding chairs and backwash basins on the one side, barber chairs on the other, everyone under one roof on Plein Street — with Shoprite right there for when you're done.
We're patient with the little ones.
Kids' cuts and kids' styles are a normal part of the day here, not an inconvenience squeezed between adults. If your child sits badly, wriggles, or has never had clippers near their ears before — say so when you walk in. We'll take it slower.

Before you come in
Can I just come in, or should I message first?
Either works. If you want a long braiding job done on a Saturday or over month-end, WhatsApp us first and we'll tell you how busy we are and when to come.
Do you do men and women in the same shop?
Yes — that's the point of the place. It's a unisex salon on the one side and a barbershop on the other, in the same premises.
Must I bring my own braiding hair?
You can bring your own if you have a brand you like. If you don't, we sell braiding hair and bundles right here, so you don't have to go looking first.
How long will braids take?
It depends entirely on the style and the length. Tell us what you want on WhatsApp and we'll give you a realistic time before you sit down, so you can plan your day around it.
Will you cut my child's hair?
Yes, kids are welcome and cut every day. Tell us if it's their first time and we'll go slower.
